ÖMER ATAY

Producer

Ömer Atay has been working as a producer for more then 20 years. He is currently producing films and TV commercials in Atlantik Film which he co-founded with Reha Erdem in 1994. His first feature-length production was “Run for Money” (Kaç Para Kaç) by Reha Erdem in 1999. Since then, he produced all of Reha Erdem’s films. “Mommy, I’m Scared” (Korkuyorum Anne, 2004) and “Times and Winds” (Beş Vakit, 2006) have been participated many important national and international film festivals and received several awards. “My Only Sunshine” (Hayat Var, 2008) which received Turkish Film Critics’ award in 45th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival is his latest production.

Ömer Atay also supports promising young talented directors to have the chance to work in film productions and begin to make their first films / shorts.
